Sponsored Litter pick

From Monday the 27th of March to Thursday the 30th of March all the children participated in a sponsored litter pick. We went to a different area of the village each day, including the copse, the rec, Barry’s field, Woodland drive, Highfield crescent and Saxon leas. The children managed to fill three black bags full of litter. They did a fantastic job and learnt about keeping our environment clean and tidy and helping keep the animals safe by collecting the litter that could be dangerous for them, they learnt about how important it is to respect and care for the local community. All the money we raise from this sponsored event will go towards continuing to fund our phonics sessions and a summer trip out for all the children.
