Hot days!!

Wow, what hot weather we are experiencing at the moment. It’s certainly proving a challenge to keep the children cool, doing lots of water play has been very welcome by them and ice pops too.

We have been doing lots of talking about going off to big school with our preschool leavers in the last few weeks. Thy have all had some settling in sessions at school now and we had a visit from one of their new teachers Mrs Evans last week. All the children’s transition reports have been written and sent to school and all the children have made their own posters with pictures of school and they have added their thoughts and feelings to these.

Now we are focussing on Sports day on Thursday. All the children have been doing lots of practice, we just hope its not too hot on the day!
