Happy Diwali

As we start our third week of the term we will be celebrating Diwali. Many of our children will not know about this Indian festival so we will be teaching them all about the background of it, the reasons it is celebrated and how it is celebrated. In the preschool we have some light activities the children can access, as well as Diwali songs to learn, Rangoli patterns to match and then design our own. There will be playdoh so they can make fireworks and the children can also make their own mehndi patterns on paper hands as this is another Diwali tradition.
