Forest School

During the half term Holiday our deputy Manager Marisa Hardy did her practical forest school training. Although she still has lots of written work to do Marisa can now teach the children forest school at the preschool.

Forest school is an approach to learning that takes children into the great outdoors whatever the weather to explore the natural environment. Forest school is a long-term, nature-based outdoor learning program that focuses on holistic development and growth in children.

Marisa is really excited to be able to do this and the children will be able to do forest school sessions every Monday and Wednesday this term, some sessions will be in our Preschool garden and others will be in the local woods.
