First signs of Spring

Spring is finally here, and still lots of rain!

The children really enjoy their weekly welly walks and this week they took their magnifying glasses with them to look for signs of spring. They found buds starting to grow on branches, bluebell leaves starting to grow up through the ground, daffodils and snow drops and mushrooms and ladybirds in the woodland area. The children always like to build dens and have some imaginary play in the woods. Today they found a big thick broken branch on the ground which they could all balance on, this branch was a train, a rollercoaster and a sofa, what great imagination the children have.
